Thankfully our house wasn't affected by the 2013 flooding, and our garden survived it well.

The Dresden Old Town (Altstadt) was protected by preventative measures such as flood barriers, and was virtually unharmed. The collections and museums in the Dresden Castle, Zwinger, Albertinum, Lipsiusbau, Jaegerhof and the Japanese Palace are all open. All the scheduled concerts in the Semperoper and Frauenkirche are taking place as planned.
